A few times in recent weeks I'd heard glowing reviews about the "classic" Peter Sellers film The Party. Hmmm. I was dubious before I even hired it from my local DVD store, especially after a colleague (thanks, John!) said it was like watching Mr Bean. He also said it was like being tickled - you couldn't help but laugh. Double hmmm. But I watched it with an open mind ... for as long as I could. Then it became a lesson in trying to spot the designer furniture. Can't say I enjoyed it for much more than its interiors and the Henry Mancini soundtrack.Monday, 19 November 2007

I completely agree. This movie is really dreadful, I just don't see the appeal at all.
Love your daily blog btw
